Mike's path to Give 2 Nickels was shaped by two faith-based institutions that share a common conviction: knowledge and expertise should serve a purpose greater than profit. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration at St. Bonaventure University, a Franciscan Catholic institution founded in 1858 whose AACSB-accredited School of Business develops ethical leaders guided by compassion, respect, and service to the common good. He went on to earn a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership with a concentration in Entrepreneurship at Roberts Wesleyan University, a private Christian university founded in 1866 with a motto of "Education for Character" and a curriculum rooted in servant-leadership.

Before founding his own firm in 2008, Mike built his payments career at four Fortune 500 companies — First Data, American Express, LexisNexis, and Ceridian — where he developed deep expertise in interchange optimization, merchant services, and consultative solutions. He holds the Certified Payments Professional (CPP) designation from the Electronic Transactions Association, the industry's most recognized credential for payments expertise.

He is also the author of two books on business development, including SMART Prospecting That Works Every Time! published by McGraw Hill, and has taught Sales Management as an adjunct professor at SUNY Brockport.

Mike lives in Key West, Florida, where he is an active member of the Rotary Club of Key West (Casino Night Fundraiser Chair) and an Ambassador for Keep Key West Beautiful. He is a member of the Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce, the Marathon Chamber of Commerce, and the Key West Business Guild. He and his partner Christina live in Key West with their dog Punklyn — deeply involved in the local community they call home.

John Clark didn't just land in the world of faith-based giving — he grew up in it. Raised in the Maplewood neighborhood of northwest Rochester, he played CYO basketball for Sacred Heart Cathedral — the Mother Church of the Diocese of Rochester — where the values of community, service, and showing up for one another were instilled long before they became a career path. That foundation never left him.

As CRO, John is responsible for driving Give 2 Nickels into the parishes, schools, and nonprofits that need modern giving tools. He brings more than 25 years of enterprise technology sales experience, specializing in the digital infrastructure that powers connectivity and transactions across the Northeast. His career has been built on managing complex, long-term institutional relationships where trust, reliability, and service are everything. That's the same skill set required to bring contactless giving technology into organizations that have operated on cash and check for generations.

A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, John understands both the technology behind the platform and the consultative sales approach needed to earn the confidence of church administrators, nonprofit directors, and board leadership.

A Family Invested in the Mission

John's connection to Give 2 Nickels isn't theoretical — it's generational. His children attend the Aquinas Institute of Rochester, a Catholic, college-preparatory school founded in 1902 in the Basilian tradition of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge. His son Sean served as President of Aquinas's Diversity Club and is a Team Captain of the Varsity Boys Soccer team. His daughter Grace leads as President of both the Core Team and the Diversity Club.

Their example reinforces what John has known since his days on the Sacred Heart court: the organizations that invest in our communities deserve modern, frictionless tools to sustain their missions.
